Description
A new addition to our Dee-Licious cakes, and another cake that is made during Christmas and New Year time in Sri Lanka. It is similar to a dark fruit cake or a Christmas cake. Not very dense like a fruit cake but chewy and fudgy. The flavor is smoky and caramel due to the kithul jaggery, but it is not overly sweet.
Best eaten after a couple of days, as it matures it develops the flavours.
Handmade in Melbourne with premium local ingredients.
